Mike,
I have recently purchased a 1933 Chevrolet 4 door Street Rod, with an early ’70s 350 engine. The car was built in 1990 using a mid-60s Corvair front clip and ’72 Pinto rack and pinion steering. The front coil springs have 2 spacers and look really tired. What would you recommend as a replacement system?- Les
Les,
Sounds as though this might be a good time to get rid of that Corvair clip and go with a Mustang II. Getting parts such as springs for the Corvair may be a challenge. Get a hold of Heidt’s or Fatman Fabrication for the new front end. – Mike
