Mike,
I have a 1970 Firebird, Fiberglass fenders, hood and nose piece, no fender wells and the battery in the trunk. So I have lightened up the front end by about 175 – 200 Lbs. The car now sits up high in the front and what I want is for it to sit 2″ lower than original. Can you make springs that will do that or do I need drop spindles? This car is being built for
Drag Racing if that matters.Dave
Dave,
I think you need to go with both, dropped springs and dropped spindles. In this case, because the front has been lightened, the springs can get you the 1st Inch and then we began to run out of suspension travel. So dropped spindles will be needed to get the next Inch. – Mike
